The Compliance and Technical Fire Safety Manager is responsible for driving forward competency, quality and consistency in the fire risk assessment department of the business. The role will directly manage and support the regional technical fire safety managers who oversee and provide technical support for employed and associate fire risk assessors within their region.
The compliance and technical fire safety manager will provide second line support for fire safety queries from assessors and clients and will report into the Managing Director.
Remotely based with regional travel only

The main purpose of this role is to undertake fire risk assessment inspections across different group properties and provide general fire safety consultancy on specific client queries.
The Fire Risk Assessor ensures reports are managed in accordance with company policy at all times. Communications and relationship management with clients, local fire authority representatives, and the Compliance and Technical Support Manager are key aspects of this important role. Compiling accurate reports, maintaining knowledge of current legislation, and any additional responsibilities as required, underpin this role.

As part of a growing fire engineering service within FCS-live Ltd, we are looking for an experienced Senior Fire Engineer to join our team. As Senior Fire Engineer you will manage a wide variety of UK-based fire engineering projects, with the expectation to manage scope delivery, project quality, resource time and project fees. Key aspects of this role include managing client expectations, reviewing technical reports and supporting experienced fire engineers, along with forging and nurturing strong client relationships. Our fire engineering and building inspection clients include student accommodation, a wide range of residential occupancies, Licensed venues, offices and industrial distribution, Architects, refurbishments and remediation, etc.
